Who we are

What we collect on this website
- Enquiries you send us. If you complete the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, school or organisation, website, role and message. We use them to answer you and, if you become a customer, to set up your account.
- Talking to Holly, our assistant. Holly is Gatehouse itself, running on this website. If you type to her, your messages are processed to answer you and stored with that conversation so we can follow up on anything you ask for. If you press the microphone, what you say is streamed to our AI provider to be understood and answered, and a written transcript is kept in the same way — only start a voice call if you are happy with that. Please do not tell her anything you would not put in an email.
- The demonstration assistant. If you open the demo on our demo page, the messages you type are processed to answer you and are stored with that demonstration conversation. Please do not enter real personal details about yourself or anyone else — it is a demonstration, and demo conversations are cleared regularly.
- Website statistics. We may use privacy-focused analytics that count page views without cookies and without profiling individuals.
Who processes it for us
- Our enquiry form is delivered by a form-forwarding service that passes your message to our inbox.
- Our email is hosted by our business email provider.
- This website is served by our hosting provider's content network.
- Holly and the demonstration assistant both run on our own platform and use a commercial AI provider to generate replies, including for speech.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you and for as long as we have a business reason to keep them; ask us to delete yours and we will. Demonstration conversations are cleared on a routine basis.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@elmeducation.org. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and storage
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Holly and the demonstration assistant each store a short-lived identifier in your own browser so a conversation is not lost when you move between pages; closing the browser ends it.

If we change this notice we will update this page. This version: August 2026.
